We are looking for an HR Recruiter to manage our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to conducting preliminary interviews and evaluating candidates. Your day-to-day will include sourcing candidates online, building and crafting compelling job descriptions, managing job ads, regularly updating ATS, conducting preliminary interviews with shortlisted candidates and eventually conducting background checks for new incoming hires. You should be able to attract candidates using various sources, like cold outreach, Linkedin navigator, social media networks and employee referrals. Ideally we’d love for you to have an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates at a tech company. You will work directly with the CEO and team leads across the organization, helping hire for roles across engineering, design, marketing and sales.

Location: San Francisco, CA OR Remote (within US)
Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 Annually
Stock Options: 0.1% – 0.2% Equity

  • Develop and update job descriptions
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms like StackOverflow, Behance, Dribbble, Linkedin, Angellist, etc.)
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
  • Conduct preliminary interview calls using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to the team
  • Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
  • Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
  • Collaborate with the team to identify future hiring needs
  • Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard


  • Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Thorough experience with sourcing & interviewing techniques
  • Understanding of referral programs
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgement
  • Academic background in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
