Work from home claiming orders from our platform! Communicate directly with clients, claim orders on your schedule, and gain valuable skills along the way. Use our platform to find formatting templates, writing help, view orders, ask questions, and track compensation. Ultius writers pay careful adherence to deadlines and close attention to order instructions. You can view the full order requirements before you claim each order, and you only work when you want to.

  • Computer with internet access
  • Office 365 or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Mobile phone
  • Willingness to communicate and help clients
  • Writing and research skills
  • Word document formatting abilities gained from 2+ years in college
  • US residence (for tax purposes, non-negotiable)

We have a sliding pay scale that generally runs from $7.50-22 per page for custom writing. The regular freelance queue pays $7.50-13 per page, the urgency queue pays $12-19 per page, and the graduate level queue pays $11-22 per page. Applicable order bonuses are in addition to these payout ranges. Payouts are automatically set by our platform when the customer creates their order. The main factors affecting payouts are time frame, skill level, and whether the order requires editing or original writing. We compensate writers twice per month via PayPal, the trusted way to pay online.

College students and recent grads generally do well in this role as they are well versed with academic style writing and formatting requirements, and they great at learning how to use a new platform.

Please use a personal email address with your application, not a work or school email address. Gmail is preferable as we use Google calendar to schedule interviews.

We are not accepting applicants from California, New York, or Massachusetts at this time. If at any time during the process a security flag occurs, such as an address discrepancy, the application may be immediately withdrawn.
