You MUST have experience closing actual deals in the AI Ecosystem specifically within:
Smart Homes, Smart Cities, Video Surveillance, Facial Recognition, Smart Drones, Smart Vision or Airport product lines.
This role is a great opportunity to join a pioneering AI company at the initial commercialisation stage and play a formative role in adoption of AI solutions driving the future of AI, a multi-billion-dollar market opportunity. Reporting to the CEO, this is a key position responsible for driving business development (60%) and sales (40%) of transformative AI solutions for enterprise data center markets, and strategic market development for future products.
The Business Development Director will draw on firsthand knowledge of market leading enterprise customers and ecosystems to secure anchor customers, propel pipeline development, and quickly grow revenues from scratch to volume and scale. Compensation is structured with significant variable upside aligned with this focus. Candidates should have deep knowledge of data centers and edge computing markets, as well as experience and skills in developing initial pipelines for early stage pioneering companies, while managing business development and sales processes and global teams in support of that goal.

Their Graph Streaming Processor (GSP) architecture delivers breakthroughs in energy efficient computing required for AI data workloads. Their software platform reduces AI implementation time and complexity. With their tools, developers can innovate new classes of products to bring the benefits of AI and machine learning to broad markets. With headquarters in California they also have teams in India and the UK, with over 300 employees worldwide.
Their advantage over other AI companies is that they fill a gap that no one else does and open the door for edge computing. Their are many companies in the AI space, but only a handful have product, my client is one.
Wish list and talking points
The so-called Super 7 are Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Baidu, Alibaba, and Tencent. CSP’s are Cloud Service Providers.
For the Enterprise Business Development Director role, this chip is currently under development and client is specifically seeking former or present NVIDIA or Intel Business Development 70/30 Sales People who have sold or sold against:
1. DataCenter (KEY for this role)
2. NVidia T4, GeForce RTX 2080, Intel Nervana or Habana
(in order of preference)
Perfect background would be:
1. Intel Nervana team
2. The new platform and the
These are direct competitor of Nvidia T4.
So anyone who is currently selling these or has previously sold these new platforms or who has worked on the Nervana team (in sales) at Intel or who is selling the new Xilinx Vitis or Alveo U50 would have sold against the Nvidia T4!
Could also come out of AI Channel Distributors for these products but you must have experience with one of these chips to be further considered. They will also look at people with product management or marketing backgrounds for this role. This person could be a leader eventually, building out the organization underneath them, but will also be an individual contributor early on.
Salary: $200k to $300k US Dollars – Yearly
