Seeking Full-Time Federal Account Manager, preferably familiar with enterprise software subscription sales to government clients, particularly DoD and/or Intel. Preference for candidates in the Washington, D.C. area. Your daily work office can be at home.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead our government sales and marketing pipeline, from prospecting to close.
  • Be responsible for closing a quota of new business.
  • Engage with our current and target customers to understand their pain points.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to use the lessons you learn to shape our product roadmap.


Skills you have:

  • 5+ years of field selling experience.
  • Selling subscription-based solutions to governments from a startup environment.
  • Sourcing and closing complex, consultative enterprise sales over a 6-12 month sales cycle.
  • Meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Leading demos and pitches to government executives.
  • Negotiating complex six to seven-figure ARR deals.
  • Conveying complex topics concisely and clearly.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new things.
  • A flexible, hands-on attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and Initiative.
  • Working in a fast-moving environment, prioritizing your work, and traveling when needed.

  • Selling to government executives in the intelligence and DoD communities.
  • Starting and growing a government sales team from scratch in a small company.
  • Experience bringing innovative products to the government market.
  • Experience pairing professional services and software.
  • Identifying and closing upsell opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Expertise in China and/or Chinese.
  • Expertise in social media and/or media manipulation.

Compensation is competitive and includes 20 days of vacation, 9 federal holidays, 9 days of sick leave. We cover 100% of health care premiums as well as the premiums for short and long-term disability plus life insurance. We match your contributions to a SIMPLE IRA.

Security Clearance: Mission and Sunlight
