Job Summary

As an E-Commerce Copywriter at LifeSeasons, you’ll be helping improve and fine-tune our everyday site experience, helping drive testing and new content for LifeSeasons largest campaign, In this role, you’ll collaborate across the entire creative team and partner with E-Comm, UX, and Executive Leadership teams to create copy that customers engage with throughout the purchase process. Expect to work on everything from evergreen benefits messaging and education pages to CTAs and microcopy.   • Research, concept, and write incredibly polished work that represents LifeSeasons –this includes messaging strategy presentations, internal documentation, educational content, and everything in between
  • Follow and maintain brand copy standards (phrasing, punctuation, etc.), evolving when necessary
  • Work closely with partners to ensure that deliverables clearly map back to a testing strategy and use prior learnings to inform decisions
  • Act as an expert in messaging performance on site, sharing findings across the rest of the team when applicable
  • Research + propose testing ideas to improve
  • Write engaging copy for email marketing
  • Tag-team with respective designers to produce assets that look and sound good
  • Work closely with the Content Manager to align creative strategy to brand, seasonal, promotional, and product efforts
  • Directly impact our culture – we are a growing team always looking to improve

Qualifications And Skills

  • A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a positive, unflappable attitude
  • A strong portfolio that reflects ample ecommerce experience; UX experience is also desirable but not a requirement
  • Impeccable grammar and spelling skills (at LifeSeasons, you are your own copy editor)
  • 4+ years of professional copywriting experience
  • Experience working closely with a design team
  • An understanding of how to adapt your natural writing style to fit that of a brand’s; the ability to tailor tone based on the audience and channel; and provide engaging, educational content
  • Awareness of ecommerce + retail trends with a focus on messaging
  • Strategic thinking and the confidence to question approaches and processes in order to better serve the team and brand
  • A love for fast-paced environments where ambiguity is part of the norm
