As the Digital Marketing Manager for the Diablo franchise, you will lead the
social brand strategy across all titles, creative development, execution, and
1:1 communication. The ideal candidate will have deep social media experience
at an agency or on the client-side, demonstrated strategic prowess, and brought
to life smart and clever ideas.

Blizzard has been a leader in entertainment for nearly 30 years, with millions
of passionate fans globally. As the Diablo franchise continues to grow, like
the Brotherhood of the Horadrim, you will be entrusted with the secrets of
Diablo Immortal, Diablo IV, and more. The minions of Hell are growing stronger
and we re looking for someone to lead this franchise and its titles into a
new era through social media.

The ideal candidate brings an enthusiasm for the gaming space, a deep
understanding of and passion for Diablo games, confident communication skills,
and a self-starting initiative to push the envelope with innovative ideas.
While industry experience is not a requirement, previous experience across PC,
console, and mobile gaming is desired.

The position requires proficiency in interacting cross-functionally as they
will be a conduit between Commercial Marketing, Growth Marketing, Game
Development, Consumer Marketing, Creative Services, and most importantly our
players and fans.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and
we re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is
expected to begin as a remote position. We understand each person s
circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim
options.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead social media strategy for all Diablo title launches and live

operations across various social platforms including, but not limited to:
Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.

  • Oversee social creative ideation, help manage production, and ensure

executional success among internal and external creative teams

  • Manage the global social editorial calendar, driving key stakeholder

alignment with business units, game development, and senior management

  • Listen and respond to consumers on our owned channels on a daily basis
  • Drive social media reporting, insights, and delivery through the use of

key social analytics tools, including Sprinklr. Utilize learnings to
inform and support the creative approach, as well as drive KPI’s across
platforms and campaigns

  • Work with external brand partners, developing and executing co-branded

initiatives

Requirements:

  • At a minimum, 5+ years experience in social media – agency (or client-

side equivalent) as a Social Strategist or Digital Marketer, including
experience strategizing, producing and executing complex social campaigns

  • Experience collaborating within a large organization, driving creative

work with multiple departments

  • Production experience working on video shoots and providing creative

feedback for social content

  • Passion for gaming, advertising, tech, and all things gothic horror

fantasy

  • Excellent verbal, organizational, programming language and technology

skills

  • Experience working with 3rd Party agencies/partners
  • Knowledge of the latest platforms and technologies and desire to identify

opportunities for strategic brand involvement

  • Understanding of brand strategy and ability to write strategic marketing

briefs and persuasive POVs

  • Working knowledge of social platforms and associated analytics programs

and tools like Sprinklr and native platform analytics, etc.

  • Ability to effectively interact with internal/external stakeholders and

all levels of management
