What does a Media Supervisor, Paid Social do?
The primary role of this position is to continue to grow the capabilities of Intouch Solutions in paid social advertising and to become the internal expert in all areas relating to the expertise. The Media Supervisor will work closely with the Media Planner(s) and Associate Media Director, as well as other members of the Media Department and the Social Media Department to confidently recommend social advertising as a complement to existing paid campaigns or as a stand-alone channel.
This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the campaign, starting with the initial recommendation and client presentation, management, and optimization of the campaign for optimal performance, assistance with content strategies on social pages and compiling/providing reports and insights to management and clients.
Account communication is a large component of the everyday workload of a Media Supervisor, Paid Social. This includes but is not limited to consistent project/status updates with Account and Project Management teams, strategic collaboration with social counterparts on holistic approach, and content development. This role will also occasionally take the lead on external communications with platform and data partners for specific account deliverables and projects. This person will be flexible when it comes to task management and have the ability to prioritize and reprioritize under changing timelines.
The Media Supervisor will keep up with industry updates and announcements from social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other HCP communities and will be the voice of Intouch Solutions to the industry and our clients through timely POVs, blog posts and case studies. In addition, this person will also think progressively about how the pharmaceutical industry, led by Intouch Solutions, can utilize the channel for more data-driven targeting opportunities.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
- 3 – 4+ years of experience in media planning, account services or some form of marketing
- Experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong math aptitude and organizational skills
- Client service background
- Presentation skills
- Able to multitask with numerous accounts and be a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Facebook Ads Manager/Business Manager preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint and Excel
- Some travel may be required
