Our goal for this role is to find a Product Manager who is marketing minded and who’s role will be to find scalable products for the company that we can build and make a return on investment.
This role in a nutshell…
The marketing minded Product Manager is a communicator, a prioritiser, a researcher, an analyst and a presenter. The Product Manager shall iterate a product from the idea phase, through validation, MVP, launch and then fine tune it by iterating until it has reached the success criteria. The Product Manager is responsible for the success of new products.
Some of your main responsibilities will be…
Testing, validating and launching new products successfully to Market. This means:
Conduct market research, including research on our clients to understand potential market challenges, problems and requirements
Identify opportunities to create a product that solves market challenges, problems and/or upcoming trends
Design product ideas
Design and run pre-MVP testing including:
Setting up landing pages for the product to be tested
Identifying and implementing the best advertising for the product
Analysing and presenting outcomes and recommendations on what should be taken to the next stage
Working with the development team to create the MVP
Launch the MVP
Requirements we’ll be needing you to have are…
An understanding of core business competencies including knowledge of budgets, turnover, costs, profit and how those are calculated.
An ability to prioritise effectively. Decisions should be made (100%) based on data and will take full accountability for such decisions.
Proficiency in internet advertising. You should be able to do keyword research, set up AdWords campaigns and Facebook advertising.
Proficiency in research and analysis
Knowledge of development principles
Basic technical expertise. You should be able to independently understand technical constraints.
Have a clear and concise writing style. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must.
An ability to independently create marketing material.
Maintaining up to date knowledge on relevant products and current internet trends
A proven track record of working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end,
A proven track record of having created marketing material
Outstanding project and time management skills
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
It would be great if the Product Manager has a general understanding on how most common technologies work.
