In this role, you act as a central hub for each project you own. Strategists, clients, consumers, and other partners orbit around you like moons, and your skill is to balance their evolving needs while keeping us on time, in budget, and delivering the highest quality of work. You’re the project’s ambassador, our partner’s conductor, our client’s advocate, and my strat’s foundation. You will set everything up and always keep us moving forward so that our team and our thinking can shine.
70% Time: Project Ownership & Management
Client communication – think of yourself as the first touchpoint. Sometimes the strategist isn’t available, but you always are. You may not know the answer, but you can let them know you are on the case!
Recruitment – At the core of every successful project is making sure we have the right people to talk with for the project. They are the foundation of our insights. You are tasked with finding them.
Project Documents – You will be creating screeners, schedules, project plans, and any other document that is relevant to your projects.
Project logistics – Tracking budget, gathering invoices, gathering NDAs, saving project documents, etc. all the nitty gritty’s that keep us legit. You should be the kind of person who sees how important these tasks are to the company health and consistently handles keeping them in order.
Resourcing – You will be helping resource teams for projects.
10% Time: Project Management Evolution
Process, Platforms, Progress – See a problem? Fix it! We are always continually monitoring for how to do things better, different, bigger, faster, or smarter, and we want you to be in on that action. Nimbly embraces evolution so if you have a good idea it won’t take a year to get into play, maybe just one meeting!
Latest and greatest – Looking for someone who is on top of the latest tools. Someone who has the creativity and zest to take those tools (sometimes from our industry and sometimes from outside industries) and craft solutions for our client’s needs.
20% Time: New Business Assistant
Searching for leads for new business.
Sending pre-written messages to leads.
Tracking follow-up messaging schedule and sending follow-up messages at an appropriate time interval.
Monitoring responses and alerting Biz Dev Manager of responses/interest from your outreach.
Believes in the mission of Nimbly and driven to take the brand to the next level (we’re doing BIG things)
Can seamlessly oscillate between “tried and true traditional” and “scrappy, DIY” thinking
Able to learn anything quickly on your own, and come up with both robust and MVP approaches
Speaks and writes with a ton of personality and passion across different mediums
Has an incredible sense of humor that comes through with clients and team members
Generally a “Yes, and…“–type of person but also able to deliver and absorb thoughtful feedback
Down to support on tasks outside of your ‘role’ as we are a startup after all
Adaptable to sporadic peaks (seasonality, growing pains, etc.) that may involve late nights or weekend work
