WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Patron Technology is actively seeking a Salesfore Administrator who will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of our primary salesforce.com environment, and will coordinate data transfers between our primary environment and a separate brand-specific environment. The administrator will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption, ideally using the Force.com platform.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales Operations, the administrator will work closely with department leaders, users, and fellow administrators across Patron Technology brands to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes, including Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Product Development, and Executive functions. This role is part technical project coordinator, part administrator, and part Salesforce analyst.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as primary system administrator for Patron Technology’s main Salesforce.com environment with 20+ users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Handle Salesforce.com data feeds and other integration
  • Run regular data transfers between separate Salesforce instances
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support

administrative, development, and change management activities * Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application

development teams * Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

  • Document changes to the Salesforce environment as they’re made

the organization * Ability to critically evaluate and synthesize information, reconcile conflicts, and

distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs * Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream

and downstream applications, systems and process

REQUIREMENTS

  • Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certifications, or a plan to become ADM201 certified within the next 90 days (additional certifications are nice, but not required)
  • Designing and implementing new processes and facilitating user adoption
  • Successfully driving projects to completion
  • Understanding and articulating complex requirements

Ideally, you already have experience that correlates to most of the following:

  • Two or more years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Experience administering Salesforce Communities
  • Clear understanding of Salesforce.com standards and functionality
  • Building custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of

intermediate complexity * Strong data management abilities, including experience with Microsoft Excel formulas

and macros
