We are seeking an experienced Sr. Growth Marketing Manager responsible for all media campaigns  (brand, paid, programmatic, SEO/SEM, etc.)  designed to to build Buzzer’s direct-to-consumer audience. This role reports into Buzzer’s Head of Marketing.

The candidate will be responsible for reaching and introducing next-gen sports fans to Buzzer’s brand and consumer product. The role’s remit is to own the strategy and execution behind high-value user acquisition and engagement campaigns, while heavily consulting on partner & product marketing opportunities.  The Sr. Growth Marketing Manager will work closely with internal Creative, Content and Data & Analytics teams as well as external agency partners in order to achieve success for all marketing initiatives.

First and foremost, this person must have a passion for solving complex marketing problems with data-driven approaches. We’re also looking for candidates with strong interest in the ever-evolving sports media landscape and Buzzer’s unique positioning within the industry. Key job responsibilities
  • Own the ongoing planning, optimization and execution of all Buzzer paid and O&O marketing channels, including marketing plans for new channel assessments and testing plans.
  • Consult cross-functionally  with creative, email, and social teams to ensure all marketing creative assets are built and executed with a data-driven approach
  • Manage external agency relationships, reporting progress & shifts in strategy internally
  • Collaborate closely with Product & Data Science to ensure measurement capabilities effectively inform organic and paid growth channel efficacy
  • Closely monitor macro industry trends related to mobile and digital marketing to inform real-time adjustments to growth strategy

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in business, marketing, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience working in media planning & strategy, with particular focus on mobile customer acquisition
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas, insights and results to senior management and the broader team
  • Experience in data analytics, advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to use data to make decisions and optimize campaign performance (inclusive of adept with testing approaches, social analytics software management, etc.)
  • Substantial experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV)
  • Disciplined time management and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Industry expert who closely monitors technological developments, changes in platform policies, and other macro marketing trends
