The Social Media Strategist is responsible for specific aspects of social media for Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS). This role’s emphasis is on designing social media strategies to increase MCHS web traffic and brand awareness, and managing, creating and producing original, high quality content on across MCHS’s social media platforms. The Social Media Strategist is expected to assist in any marketing, communications, media relations, social media and public relations areas as required.
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field.
Minimum Required: Three years of experience working professionally with various types of social media, demonstrated ability to gather information/data to plan, produce and edit quality content on a timely basis. Demonstrated proficiency of strong verbal skills, and use of Microsoft Office suite and various social media software reporting and scheduling tools.
