Role Overview

To ignite continuous growth, Jimdo has identified a new avenue of products focusing on the Micro-business segment. Our marketing department is at the forefront of this process, helping the business target and identify the best ways of reaching our customers.

As our Senior Product Marketing Manager you will help build the foundation of our efforts together with your Product Marketing Lead, from ideation of GTM strategies to strengthening of product communication along the customer journey, to finding new avenues for discoverability. Initially you would deep dive in the current flows and understand the status quo, making incremental changes, until you find bigger levers you would want to bet on. Experimentation would be a crucial aspect of your role until we find the ideal customer journey that fits with our target audience. You would be reporting to the Product Marketing Lead.

What you’ll be doing
  • Architecting short and long term go-to-market campaigns, connecting key narratives to product and feature launches.
  • Working collaboratively with Product, UX and marketing teams to lead our product and GTM strategy.
  • Defining Jimdo’s market positioning and value proposition.
  • Conducting user research to identify Jimdo’s personas and jobs-to-done.
  • Crafting Jimdo’s product narrative in partnership with Brand Strategy.
  • Creating and executing go-to-market plans for Jimdo’s products and features.
  • Determining the success metrics and working with data science to measure the impact of your programs.

What you bring to the table
  • 3+ years of Product Marketing experience, preferably focused on SMBs or entrepreneur-focused products.
  • At least 6 years marketing experience.
  • Motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of the strategic importance of the target audiences, and how they make buying decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, especially to executives.
  • Creative problem-solving skills. Someone who can diagnose problems, isolate them into their component parts, and drive toward creative solutions.
  • Experience with Miro, Confluence and Asana is advantageous.
