Foresight is looking for an exceptional marketing copywriter able to distill a complex brand message down to elegant simplicity.

You’ll be our lead wordsmith, crafting copy for landing pages, sales collateral, scripts, marketing campaigns, blog articles, and social media posts. With a strong technical acumen, you’ll utilize Google Docs, Microsoft Word, WordPress, Figma, and design review tools like InVision and Pastel to craft, refine, and publish your work.

As the first full-time writer on a scrappy and hungry marketing team, you’ll produce deliverables on a fast turnaround and refine our brand’s voice, ensuring it is expertly carried out across all sales and marketing channels.

We’re excited to meet applicants with diverse copywriting portfolios and a demonstrated track record of testing and improving copy to drive results. This role has paths into management or specialization as an individual producer.

Responsibilities

  • Become an avid student of all things commercial insurance, speaking with internal stakeholders, appointed brokers, and insureds to hone your understanding of our audience.
  • Craft copy for our outbound and inbound marketing initiatives, including landing pages, sales collateral, scripts, blog articles, and social media posts.
  • Work with our founders and marketing leadership to hone our brand narrative and create and maintain a comprehensive editorial style guide.
  • Edit and proofread pitch decks and investor opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our team of marketing managers and creative agencies on high level concepts that will shape our marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to listen, and a commitment to learning and growing through feedback.
  • Clarify complex topics into easy to understand language.
  • Assess projects and provide recommendations on the scope and type of copywriting support needed.
  • Leverage and manage internal systems for scaling on-brand copy across teams, projects, and channels.
  • Edit and proof final deliverables to ensure that final content appears as intended and sits within our brand framework.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated by a diverse copywriting portfolio
  • Confident short-form and long-form content writer
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit for brand voice
  • Solid understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once; able to work proactively to meet deadlines
  • Able to craft compelling narratives that drive engagement and action
  • Bachelor’s Degree
