The Challenge

Demyst has been experiencing rapid growth, both in revenue and headcount, over the past few years…and it’s showing no signs of stopping! We’re seeking an experienced recruiter to join the team to amp up our recruitment efforts and catalyze our continued growth. Reporting to the Director of Talent Operations, you will fill key roles across the organization and within numerous role disciplines. You have experience and a proven track record with go-to-market (sales, marketing, BAs etc) engineering (data, software, platform, cloud engineers etc.) and operational roles (administrative, HR, finance/accounting etc). You’re able to work independently, take direction when necessary and ask for help when you need it. You have a “no task too small” mindset – we all go outside of our job descriptions. This role is fully remote.


  • Support hiring efforts in North America and for our global teams in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and likely UK/Europe in the future.
  • Take ownership of assigned roles and work them from initial creation of job descriptions all the way though to onboarding, including:
    • Candidate communication, scheduling hiring manager interviews, extending offers and closing candidates
    • Pre-hire onboarding and communication
  • Provide a stellar, high-touch candidate experience, from initial contact through to onboarding
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers across the business to understand and ensure alignment on the specifications of each role and how it fits within the overall organization
  • Proactively source passive talent using Linked In Recruiter and other methods
  • Build talent pipelines within certain role scopes (e.g, data/software engineers, junior sales talent, etc)
  • Manage job requisitions internally and job postings externally; handle other administrative aspects of the Recruitment & Talent Operations function at Demyst as needed
  • Maintain current candidate status in the Workable ATS at all times; provide updates to hiring managers and leaders when asked
  • Contribute to hiring processes and procedures, employer branding, onboarding and organizational planning that will enable the company to scale effectively


  • BA/BS in relevant field
  • 3-4 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, either via agency, in-house or a combination of both
  • Successful placement track record across numerous role disciplines (i.e. go to market, engineering, operations, etc)
  • Strong proficiency in sourcing candidates proactively, using Linked in Recruiter and other methods
  • Lighthearted and approachable demeanor with client service focus – every hiring manager is a client!
  • MUST be flexible and adaptable – things change often and we need to roll with it
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Suite (specifically documents, spreadsheets & decks)
  • Experience with Workable or a comparable ATS
  • Experience with Linked In Recruiter and other talent sourcing platforms
  • Ability and desire to work outside of normal business hours (evenings) to support hiring efforts globally
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal (that’s not filler – we really mean it!)
  • Strong research and presentation skills
