Makeship is a crowd-funding platform for content creators to launch limited-edition merchandise to their fans. We are looking for a sales ops rockstar to help our partnerships team deliver the best possible experience to our creators and customers. In this role, you will be expected to drive key programs and processes including quota-setting, forecasting, and pipeline management, and helping our leadership team manage the rhythm of the business!

So, what will you do at Makeship as a Sales Ops Specialist?

  • Help manage our CRM by staying on top of current deals, contacts, and companies, so our partnership team has full visibility into our business
  • Working with management on deal forecasting and quota setting
  • Learn and follow Makeship’s sales processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Be a trusted advisor to sales leadership by delivering insights and helping to define strategies in support of organizational priorities and key growth initiatives
  • Working with sales to analyze campaigns and find correlations between successful creators and products
  • Providing analytics for sales/marketing-led initiatives, programs and incentives in order to develop ROI view

This might be for you if…

  • You have 2+ years experience in a sales or business operations role
  • You have an understanding of CRM (preferably Hubspot) and database software
  • You have quota setting and/or deal forecasting experience
  • You are analytical by nature, and have experience identifying and reporting on common sales KPIs
  • An interest in the content creation space (you love social media personalities!)
  • Entrepreneurial – you take ownership over your work and view it as more than a job
  • Extraordinary listening, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent speaker and presenter

Bonus…

  • Experience working with Shopify 
  • Experience with data analytics – SQL and/or database management
