THE PURIYA STORY
WE ARE SISTERS JILL AND YI-JEN, GROWING UP IN TAIWAN WE USED THE POWER OF PLANTS EVERY DAY. OUR MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER HAD A BOTANICAL FOR EVERYTHING, AND WE GREW UP LEARNING TO LOOK TO NATURE FIRST.

CULTURE SHOCK

When we moved to the United States, our mother was no longer with us to simmer up potions and pastes the traditional way.  We had to take care of ourselves the “American way”.  We couldn’t believe that we could barely pronounce, let alone identify, a single ingredient in many products. There weren’t other natural options available to us at the time, so life goes on.
